Twitter Phishing

People on Twitter are being “phished” not “hacked” here’s the diff:

“Hacked” in this case would imply that someone circumvented Twitter’s security which is not what happened.

“Phished” means that a nefarious website, email, tweet or whatever tricked the person into entering their username and password into a login form pretending to be the official Twitter form.
